Punteks Tekstil & Makine San. Tic. Ltd. Ūti. was established in 1995 in order to sort and recycle the textile wastes. It has 12.000m2 factory on a 30.000m2 land and Punteks is able to process 1250 ton textile waste per month. It exports 50% of its production to 21 countries among which most of them are European Countries. In 2006, Punteks has established a new felt line which has a 800 tons/month capacity. In total with shoddy, Punteks has an 1800 tons/month production capacity. Our felt line is able to produce different kinds of felt between 500 gr/m2 and 3000 gr/m2. In addition to cotton and synthetic fibers, linen, straw and wool are also used in felt production. Our production line can produce felt by both thermo bonding and chemical bonding. Produced felts can be used in automotive, furniture, construction and household appliances. In order to maintain quality in these sectors, our modern laboratory has all required equipments.
